ART OF EYEBROW SHAPING

If I go through all my childhood photos, I cringe. Obviously when I was younger, I didn’t realize the ramifications of tweezing and thinning my eyebrows out on the daily. As you get older your brows thin out naturally, so it’s important to keep as much as you can throughout your life.

Your eyebrows and lashes are the main attraction to your face, and if you make the slightest change or mistake it will make a world of difference, good or bad. After many, many years and lots of growing, I finally found a look and arch that I absolutely loved, and ever since then I have just tried to maintain my eyebrows.

Eyebrow waxing and threading is not an easy task, it is an art.  To shape an eyebrow, you must visualize the look and the shape and then put in the work to get the results you want.  By work, this means from the brow artist and the client. The client must stop tweezing and grow the brow hairs out, so the next time you visit your brow artist they can give the arch you have always wanted.  Yes, it is a natural instinct to just tweeze away, thinking the outcome will be incredible. But we all know this can lead to over tweezing and an uneven shape.  If you know what you’re doing then continue to maintain your eyebrows, but if not let the professionals handle it.  That’s my job, to make sure you get that perfect arch for your eyebrows. Seeing my clients happy is the best feeling in the world.

Now Let’s discuss the ways to shape them.  I stick to 3 methods, each giving an eyebrow a unique look.  The first method I absolutely love, brow waxing. This method is a perfect way to define the shape of your eyebrows, giving them a bold look.  The second method is eyebrow threading, this is great for giving your eyebrows a natural look.  I would recommend threading if you are unable to wax or if you’re on any skin medication.  The third method is tweezing. This is like threading and gives a more natural look.  Each strand of hair is tweezed, one at a time, also giving you a more natural eyebrow shape. I hope this article gives you a better understanding on what it takes to shape an eyebrow.  My goal is to give each one of my clients a beautiful and unique look.   I highly recommend setting up an appointment with your local eyebrow services shaping salon to keep your eyebrows in shape.
